The VoiceLine is a unique sound instrument for voice, sound, music and audio storytelling, celebrating the histories of radio and listening which began on The Strand 100 years ago and changed the world. The VoiceLine conjures an immersive journey through an ever-changing world of sound from East to West along this historic street. A rich programme of bespoke audio work that can be performed daily, between 8am–8pm. We were so pleased to exhibit a scaled down version of The VoiceLine at Step Inside festival, to commemorate 25 years of Somerset House as a cultural institution.
